My name is Tina Bowers. I have been a life-long resident of Pasadena, Maryland. Married for 17 years I have two children ages 15 and 11. I have worked with attorneys my entire career. I started out being a court clerk on the asbestos cases for Anne Arundel County Circuit Court. This was a short-term assignment. Once the assignment was completed, I went to work as a legal secretary for a financial company that had an in-house legal team. I worked for this company for 13 years and left when they moved the operation to Atlanta, GA. After this, I decided I wanted to have a more challenging career. So I chose to be a settlement agent. I liked the interaction with people. After several years of being a settlement agent, I decided more involvement was needed with the entire title process, so I worked with an attorney who wanted to start a title company. We opened the title company in 2003 and although I don’t work for the same title company, I still enjoy the title business. I have been in the title business for 9 years and have experience in almost every situation of the title business.
